Volunteering opportunities in the ACT
Always look for opportunities that are being offered at your university first, often a lot of opportunities are only advertised for internal applicants (i.e. from that specific university). Also, not everything is advertised, I started volunteering (and still am) with a lab at my university by asking a person from that lab directly. Having 10 seconds of courage goes a long way. Lastly, have a look for yourself what is out there, sites I look at include seek volunteer, and my university career page and stand alone sites - I am only providing a taste on this page because there is so many
